Superclipium

Under the spreading juniper bush
The village hairclip strands
Its purple coated web is free
With large and inert glands

The muscles on the coat he wears
Are removable and spongy
And in between his little toes
You'll find big gobs of wax

If you should venture far with him
Away from his toils and cares
He'll sit you down and tell you a tale
Of pins and needles and nails

In retrospect, it's plain to see
the man was growing crazy;
The eyes bulged out and chin caved in
Are certain signs of transcendence

On the other hand, or better yet
We'll walk-a-mile with Earl
As he tells us of his glory days
Among the winsome walruses

Perchance to take a walk
Along the shorelined beach
And stumble on some bauble
Or find a drifting hunk of whale puke

Finally, the day is done
And we can take a rest
To sit beside our favorite lass
Or smell some fresh ambrosia

He zips, he flips, he skims
... it's Superclipium
